What is all this about?

Hey there, and how do you do?

My name is Riley Wilson and I'm going on a quest of self discovery!

Long story short, like many out there I have struggled with things like depression, anxiety, addiction, hopelessness, homelessness, and other things that have dampened my spirit to an unhealthy degree. I've spent the last few years specifically battling with the responsibility of adulthood and trying to distinguish it from slavery.

Essentially I've lost a lot of faith in many aspects of human life today and I have a hard time wanting to engage with any part of modern society. But I said short version right?

So basically I'm fed up with all the doom and gloom, I am ready to open my eyes and start living my life in the now while it is still my life to live.

This I why I have decided to take this journey.

A physical, mental, and spiritual journey on foot. Who knows where it may take me?

I have started this website so that my friends, loved ones, supporters, fans, and anybody really can track my progress, see where I'm at during the journey, to offer support, send messages, make suggestions, and ultimately be involved in this journey with me.

I start this journey Sunday February 13 th 2024 at 6am Pacific time. I will make the journey on foot starting in Portland Oregon and my first rest destination is the Auburn state Recreation area in Northern California. Which will hopefully be a fun opportunity to prospect for precious gems and metals.

I will embody the spirit by making this journey completely sober and smoke free, embracing the naturally organic me.

I plan to envelope myself in the peace and harmony of the ever moving world, absorbing all the knowledge and experience that I can.

Anyone out there feeling like giving up on the world or on yourselves I encourage you to put down what you are doing, pack a light bag of necessities and COME JOIN ME!!!!
